If you need help please contact the ECSU welfare officers (welfare@ecsu.org.uk), your college tutor, or the porters, in the first instance, and they will be happy to help. There is always a porter in the plodge, Cambridge Nightline is open every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, from 7pm to 7am during NPR (01223 744444), and Samaritans operate a 24/7 chat service both on the phone (116 123) and on their website.

As a welfare team we are here to make sure that your Cambridge experience is an enjoyable one! We want to make sure that you are able to access the support you need to, when you need to access it. We also organise regular events such as our weekly Wednesday drop-ins, complete with tea, coffee, and cake, our termly delivery of sweets into your pidges, film nights, chocolate fountains, free Jack’s Gelato, welfare walks, trips to Ely, and various other happenings. We also meet regularly with the Senior Tutor, College Mental Health Coordinator, and the Dean to make sure that students and college are both on the same page when it comes to how we can best support Emma undergrads.

This year we have three Welfare officers, Loveday (third year English student), Ben (third year geographer), and Harry (second year music student). If you need to get in touch with us at any point, please do! We’re here to help and can be found at the following email addresses: welfare@ecsu.org.uk, welfare-female@ecsu.org.uk, welfare-male@ecsu.org.uk.
